Give your students the opportunity to build real-world skills and confidence through the Highlands LLEN Mock Interview Program. Designed with support from local industry professionals, this program allows students to practise interview techniques, receive constructive feedback, and develop job-ready communication skills. Schools can book sessions to help students gain confidence, experience, and insight into workplace expectations.

Real Talks gives students the chance to hear directly from local industry professionals and learn about the realities of today’s workplace. Panellists share their personal career journeys, industry insights, workplace expectations, and future opportunities. Students gain practical advice on pathways, subject choices, and job readiness — with optional opportunities for one-on-one conversations. It’s a powerful way to connect classroom learning to real-world careers.
- Ballarat Mock Interview Day - 2 September 2026, Ballarat CBD

Ballarat Mock Interview Day is a large-scale, centralised event designed to help students build confidence, communication skills, and job-readiness. Held at a convenient Balla rat venue, the event brings together volunteers from community organisations, local businesses, and industry sectors who generously conduct one-on-one mock interviews. This supportive experience allows students to practise interview skills, receive valuable feedback, expand their networks, and gain insight into employer expectations.

- Farm to Table Tour

Hosted by Jonai Farm and Meatsmith, this hands-on excursion gives students a genuine look at ethical and sustainable farming. Students will tour the farm, meet the pigs and cows, visit the vegetable fields, and take part in seed planting activities. Along the way, they’ll learn about growing native foods, organic and ethical farming practices, share farming, composting, and pathways into farming careers. It’s an engaging experience that connects students to where their food comes from and the people who produce it.
- Little Hampton Farm

This hands-on farm experience takes students out of the classroom for a memorable and engaging day. Students make pizzas using fresh, farm-grown ingredients, learn barista skills, participate in planting activities, and explore how crops are grown and cared for. Passionate farmers share their knowledge of food production and horticulture, and a guided tour reveals the diverse produce grown at Little Hampton. This experience gives students a real taste of careers in agriculture, food production, and hospitality- all while enjoying the energy of farm life.
