As part of the Victorian Governments response to unemployment concerns, the Jobs Victoria Advocates Program is a free Program being delivered to communities across Victoria to assist individuals in finding employment. Highlands LLEN, in partnership with Central Grampians LLEN will act as a host organisation to two Advocates, who will be engaging with community members and organisations to assist job seekers in finding employment. What is the Jobs Victoria Advocates Program? \
Jobs Victoria Advocates are a component of the Victorian Government’s record investment in employment support which is responding to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Program is free, there is no cost to community members.
Jobs Victoria Advocates will be located throughout our community and will provide you with information, advice and connections to resources in order to assist you with:
- navigating and accessing community services
- discussing pathways to employment
- exploring employment-related supports and options available for local jobseekers

The Jobs Victoria Advocates hosted through Highlands LLEN cover the following LGAs:
- Ballarat
- Moorabool
- Hepburn
- Pyrenees
- Ararat
To be eligible to engage with the Jobs Victoria Advocates Program, community members must have the right to work in Australia.
