The School Infographic Project maps the primary areas in which schools from our region have engaged with our organisation throughout 2019. These statistics have been gathered and presented in infographics which have been distributed to each school.
Staff logins to the Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) Portal
The number of times Highlands LLEN (HLLEN) Region school staff have logged into the State-wide Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) Portal throughout the year.
School students who consumed SWL placements
The total number of school students who participated in SWL placements with businesses across the region via the Statewide Portal.
School students who attended Get Into Games (GIG)
The total numbers of school students who attended the GIG Expo. This yearly expo is organised for school students to help them explore the gaming industry and the possible pathways into employment in a variety of areas. HLLEN is a member of the Steering Committee.
School Leavers Manuals distributed
The number of School Leavers Manuals (both digital and physical) delivered to schools by HLLEN at the end of the year for distribution to departing school students.
Staff attendance at School Wellbeing meetings
The total number of school staff who attended School Wellbeing Network meetings throughout the year. This network is designed to support school wellbeing staff. HLLEN is a co-organiser of this Network.
Staff attendance at Flexible Learning Network meetings
The total number of school staff who attended Flexible Learning Network meetings throughout the year. This network provides support to school staff who work in flexible learning programs and is facilitated by HLLEN.
Staff attendance at Flexible Learning Forum
The number of school staff who attended the Flexible Learning Forum. This event is informed by the Flexible Learning Network and organised by HLLEN. The Forum focuses on the latest research and best practice in the flexible learning sector, as well as showcasing local innovation.
Students who attended You The Man
The number of school students who attended sessions of the You The Man presentation throughout the year. This presentation is designed to help educate young people about dating violence and bystander action. HLLEN is a member of the community consortia of You The Man.
Staff attendance at Ballarat Youth Services Network (BYSN) meetings
The number of school staff who attended Ballarat Youth Services Network (BYSN) meetings throughout the year. This network is for anyone working with or for young people in the Ballarat and broader region. It focusses on information sharing, professional learning and cross sectoral networking. Highlands LLEN is the backbone organisation for BYSN.

How many times school staff have opened issues of The Engagement Express Newsletter throughout the year which is published by HLLEN.

Career Voyage Survey Participation
The number of times the Career Voyage survey was delivered to school students by trained HLLEN staff. This survey is designed to assist school students to explore career pathway choices for their future.

The number of school events attended by staff from HLLEN throughout the year. These events include VCAL/VET showcases and Membership Matters: Secondary Education in Focus.

The number of VET Expos, Career Expos and Subject Selection sessions attended by HLLEN staff. This includes stalls and information booths.

The number of school students both current and past who have been members of the YAB, a youth advocacy group supported and managed by HLLEN.
School students supported by the MAST Program
The number of school students who have participated in and been supported by the Multi-Agency Support Team Program. This program is a youth crime prevention project. HLLEN are active committee members and have undertaken research for the project.
