THAT PLACE Information Centre

When you are unsure what step to take next – walk in and see Diana & Jan at THAT PLACE in the BLX building 36 Camp Street, where you will find a space designed for and supportive of 15 – 19 year olds.

THAT PLACE exists to support young people in times of transition. It is a bright and welcoming space to find information to improve understanding of the work place, education pathways and options open to you.  Resources and advice are available at THAT PLACE for job or career information or job search. There is space to explore and communicate at your own pace. 
Some of the resources available include:

• Centrelink Youth Services Officer available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week 

• Computer use – resume updating and printing

• Information on a variety of services available 

• Information on courses at Universities and TAFE. Short courses,

• Volunteer work

• Job Network Agencies and Group Training Companies

• Support during Job search

• Information on interview technique

• Fax, phone, internet and general assistance for job search 

• Ongoing contact via ONTRACK connect once you have left school
