The Work Ready Card program is designed to prepare participants to be work ready for their entrance into work experience, structured workplace learning or employment. A Work Ready Card is awarded to participant upon completion of the following program outcomes.

• Career Pathway Planning

• The Work Ready OH&S training program

• Safe work practices during work experience, work placement or employment.

Who can receive a Work Ready Card?

Many different groups of people may undertake the Work Ready Card Program and receive a card.
The Work Ready Card program is designed to assist these groups of participants:

• Post compulsory secondary school students.

• Trainees or apprentices

• YP program participants

• JANA program participants

• Unemployed workers seeking to re-enter the workforce.

• New employees undertaking induction training for participating industries.
