Jobs for Youth

Jobs for Youth is a promotional page of The Courier every Wednesday. It showcases and promotes people aged between 15 – 23 who are undertaking training in the form of a traineeship, apprenticeship, school based apprenticeship, volunteer training etc. Aswell as showcasing youth, the page also promotes the business/employer they work for and the jobs/employment agencies involved in their recruitment.

J4Y has been a successful partnership with The Courier and the Highlands Local Learning & Employment Network and it’s supporters since 2003. With a story published every Wednesday, we have already promoted and produced 416 Jobs for Youth stories.

The J4Y page is a win/win situation for our supporters and job service agencies. The employer, business and agency that have helped the youth find their training opportunity will all be advertised and promoted in a positive manner, with absolutely no cost whatsoever. The page is also useful for use in marketing plans etc
The stories that you provide can not only be about new trainees and apprentices but also stories on people successfully signing off or completing their training.

All that you will need to do is send us a name and contact details for a J4Y story – The Highlands LLEN and The Courier will do the rest!
